Cary is Bangor born and raised, graduated from Bangor High School in 1990 and received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from the University of Maine in 1994.

Cary is active with a number of community boards and organizations and currently serves as a member of the Bangor City Council.  Cary is the founding chair of Fusion:Bangor , an organization born to empower young professionals to have a voice and make an impact in community affairs. He is a 2004 graduate of the Bangor Region Leadership Institute.

Over the past 10 years, Cary has worked with hundreds of local businesses, non-profits and community organizations helping to shape the focus of their branding and marketing strategy.

He can juggle, make wine, say the alphabet backwards and once took home a trophy in a stand-up comedy competition.

He lives in Bangor with his wife Tori, and two daughters - Maddie (6 years old) and Serena (9 months old)
