Katy England

Katy England is a veteran who has blazed a unique communications trail in her career. A long-time storyteller, Katy has more than 20 years of experience writing for local publications, including the alternative arts and entertainment publication the Maine Edge for 10 years, she can bring your stories to life. Never one to follow a traditional path, Katy worked closely with the Maine State Police to hone their social media presence, taking them from hundreds of followers to hundreds of thousands. Katy’s charming and engaging nature helps her build a strong rapport with clients. Her intuitive mind and love of lifetime learning had her honing new skills as technology evolved changing many creative industries.

Her love of writing and creativity started early but was honed when she graduated with a BA in English from the University of Maine at Farmington. She enjoys spending time with her family in the woods of Maine with some select fish and the crows in her yard. When not writing sparkling copy at work, a self-described nerd spends her evenings writing creative fiction, huddled around a gaming table with fellow tabletop role-players, or braving the wilds of Skyrim or the wastelands of Fallout on her PC.
